A pink, hazy sunset. I wanted to catch a glimpse of the sun but I didn’t make it in time. I believe the sky was hazy due to the smoke from the California wildfires making its way up to us.

This was my first time visiting Woodbine Park. Born and raised in Toronto, I can’t believe I haven’t visited here before. The skyline was in full view and even though the sky didn’t light up the way I thought it would, I still really love the way the shots came out. I can’t wait to come back and visit when a more promising sunset is on the horizon.

One of my favourite sunsets to date! We had rainy weather and crazy storm clouds in the afternoon and a gorgeous, vivid sunset in the evening. Couldn’t have asked for more!

When I noticed these intense storm clouds moving in, I had to get my camera and go straight into the backyard to get some photos. You could feel it in the air that something was coming. The clouds were moving quick and showing some rotation. Luckily it didn’t manifest into anything more and all we got was just a downpour of rain.

When fluffy summer clouds turn into intense summer sunsets.

We had an intense golden hour this afternoon and I just had a feeling it would translate into a memorable sunset. The sky went from yellow to orange to red in the span of a few minutes.

One of the best feelings as a self proclaimed nature photographer is when you look at the sky just before sunset and you just know that it’s going to light up in brilliant reds and oranges. And the cherry on top? When it actually does!

An almost hazy, purple sunset lighting up the Toronto skyline.

Some days, there isn’t enough time for me to leave to head off to my usual spots. Luckily, there are some good vantage points right in the backyard. I’m really going to miss these summer sunsets once winter rolls around.
