Gina Staios was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1993. She works primarily with digital colour photography and occasionally works with other mediums. Her photographs usually depict nature, landscapes, and the world around her. She currently lives in Toronto and is a Ryerson University graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Art.
