Abstract and geometric shots from around the city on a summer afternoon in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
I’ve always loved the symmetry of electrical wires and the way they look against the sky. There’s something about the negative space that draws me in, every time. Here, I was drawn to the stark contrast of the hazy sky against the shadowed wires.
Some simple shots of two industrial-like scenes. I liked the horizontal lines of the train tracks and the vertical lines of the columns illuminated by the golden sunlight.
Some houses around the neighbourhood have taken to decorating their trees out front with Christmas ornaments. Christmas is long gone by now but the ornaments look so pretty against any kind of lighting that it would be a shame taking them down. I always love photos of ornaments so I was happy I was able to capture this one.
