Smoke from nearby wildfires fill the skies on a summer afternoon in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. June 28th, 2023 marks the day that Toronto had the worst air quality in the world. The smell of smoke permeated the air and made breathing and even blinking at times very difficult.

Happy 187th birthday Toronto! I was downtown and decided to snap some shots while in the car (from the passenger seat). When the weather warms up, I plan to grab my camera and walk around downtown and see what I can get pictures of. Some of my favourite shots in the past have been city shots from New York City and Chicago where I was just free to explore. Sadly, it seems like I haven’t done that as often as I would like in my home town.
