The Toronto skyline surrounded by clouds. I was sunset chasing and snapped this one before the sunset as I really loved how fluffy the clouds were. If you couldn’t tell, the Toronto skyline is one of my favourite photographic subjects.

A soft pink and purple sunset. As much as I love the vibrant and intense sunsets, there’s something calming about the ones with gentle skies and fluffy clouds.

A vivid red sunset during spring. I had fun editing this one to look a bit darker to accentuate the sun’s round shape. I love when hazy sunsets provide us with a beautiful view of the sun!

Happy 187th birthday Toronto! I was downtown and decided to snap some shots while in the car (from the passenger seat). When the weather warms up, I plan to grab my camera and walk around downtown and see what I can get pictures of. Some of my favourite shots in the past have been city shots from New York City and Chicago where I was just free to explore. Sadly, it seems like I haven’t done that as often as I would like in my home town.

Another brilliant Toronto sunset. Sunsets like these near the end of winter feel like a light at the end of the tunnel. I personally don’t mind winter and I love the photographic opportunities, but by the end, it really starts to eat away at me. I look forward to the longer days and the sunsets at 8 or 9pm. We still have a little while longer to go but with vivid skies like these, the wait feels a little easier.

A pink, hazy sunset. I wanted to catch a glimpse of the sun but I didn’t make it in time. I believe the sky was hazy due to the smoke from the California wildfires making its way up to us.
