I was hoping for a little more of a dramatic sky but I’ll take what I can get. I’m pleased with the way the colours became more and more vivid, though!
An almost summer sunset at Polson Pier in Toronto. This is one of my favourite spots for taking photos of the Toronto skyline, especially during sunset.
Spring sunsets usually aren’t as intense as those in summer but I always look forward to when the sky lights up more and more often. It means summer is truly on its way!
An intense and vibrant sunset from the beginning of May. The clouds turned yellow and then orange and I was able to capture some stunning shots of the Toronto skyline and the surrounding areas.
A moody spring day in Toronto, Canada. We headed down to the beach for a little bit for some fresh air. Soon after, we headed to Polson Pier so I could take some skyline shots with the storm clouds in the background. As we were driving there, the clouds looked particularly angry with lots of movement. By the time I got there and was ready to shoot, they had mellowed down a bit, which was a little disappointing. Since summer is just starting, I’m hoping to catch some angry storm clouds soon!
A soft pink and purple sunset. As much as I love the vibrant and intense sunsets, there’s something calming about the ones with gentle skies and fluffy clouds.
A vivid hazy sunset leads to the sun’s shape being fully visible in the sky. The cloud formations that came next were super pretty and I couldn’t resist taking a shot of the tree branches against the pretty sky!
