Vibrant Sunset on June 21st, 2021.

Digital, 2021.

The first sunset of summer! We were definitely blessed by Mother Nature on this evening. The clouds in the afternoon looked wispy and hazy and I had a strong hunch we would be getting an intense sunset. And let me say, I really love it when I’m right!

One of my favourite things is just seeing the sky transform and change during sunsets like these. The sky changes from yellow to orange to red to pink and purple. I’m always snapping away, taking a million photos and trying to balance that out with trying to enjoy the spectacle before me.

I can only hope we have a bunch more of sunsets like these ahead of us!

City Skylines and a Twilight Sky on May 15th, 2021.

Digital, 2021.

The Toronto skyline during late spring and the skyline during twilight. The sunset wasn’t as intense as I was hoping but I’m really happy with the skyline shot. I looked over and saw all the pretty white flowers and I knew I had to snap a photo. It was such a spring scene and it made me so happy seeing it in person. We came back around a week later and the hill was completely grassy, no white flowers. Just goes to show how anything in spring disappears so quick if you aren’t fast enough.

Beaches and a Skyline on May 8th, 2021.

Digital, 2021.

A moody spring day in Toronto, Canada. We headed down to the beach for a little bit for some fresh air. Soon after, we headed to Polson Pier so I could take some skyline shots with the storm clouds in the background. As we were driving there, the clouds looked particularly angry with lots of movement. By the time I got there and was ready to shoot, they had mellowed down a bit, which was a little disappointing. Since summer is just starting, I’m hoping to catch some angry storm clouds soon!
